Hi Rachel! There are a number of things you can do to improve deliverability. The first is to make sure that when people first subscribe, you send them to a thank you page that explicitly tells them to check their spam folder and to whitelist your email address. The second is to clean your list – the more people you have on your list who don’t open your emails, the more likely your email is to land in spam FOR EVERYONE. I recommend you run a reactivation campaign to all your cold subscribers and remove anyone who does not respond >>> https://www.productiveblogging.com/how-to-reactivate-cold-subscribers/ The third is to work on improving open and click through rates (which will have a positive effect on your deliverability as email clients like Gmail will see that your emails are perceived as valuable by your recipients) >>> https://www.productiveblogging.com/improve-email-open-and-click-rates/ And finally, ask questions in your emails and encourage replies. This again shows to email clients that you are a ‘good sender’. There will always be a some that land in spam, but by working on these areas you will gradually reduce the number. I’ve tried quite a few different ones such as yahoo, gmail, private company and they all end up in the spam folder. Is there a trick to get around this?
